Meet Emily Killick, a film and animation editor whose sheer tenacity (and of course talent!) has seen her carve out an amazing career as an animation editor. Based in Spain, Emily recently had her film Mummies nominated for Best Animated Film at the 2024 Goya Awards. She may be an expert in animation but her dream project would be a horror! Meet Harfun Li a London based comedy editor, who’s story is exactly why Edit Girls exists and you’re going to love it! Harfun was awarded the BFE, Chris Crookall Award for Breakthrough Editor and is so deserving of the recognition. She talks about her experience as an entertainment and unscripted editor and how she’s pivoting her career to focus on scripted comedy, with The Office editor, Nigel Williams as her mentor. Tobie Pettitt - Executive Audio Producer
Meet Tobie Pettitt, an Executive Audio Producer at London based Forever Audio. I’m so excited to share Tobie’s story as it gives a different perspective on a post production role from our usual editor focused stories. Tobie’s story shows how a producing role can be a brilliant mix of people skills, organisation and creativity. She’s worked with the likes of Idris Elba and Gerard Butler, not a bad career path in my book!!

Ashley Kreamer - Editor/ Partner
Meet editor and partner at Final Cut, Ashley Kreamer. Ashley started at the reception desk at Final Cut and has had an incredible 20+ year career there. She talks about how sound is ’the skeleton’ of your edit, the importance of not fearing 'the empty timeline’ and how despite originally wanting to be a documentary cinematographer she knew editing was for her because she got to be in a warm edit suite than out in the cold on set. I think many can relate! Her work is outstanding and a recent project for Dove ‘Cost of Beauty’ was nominated for an Emmy. Enjoy Ashley’s career story!

Robin Burchill - Editor
Meet Robin Burchill, a commercial editor at Bandit NYC. She rather brilliantly says she ’sits for a living’ with her cat or dog curled up on her lap, but of course we all know it’s a little more than that ;) Her work includes music videos, commercials for big name brands and documentaries.
